APRA is a nonprofit organization, and our education sessions are primarily presented by parks and recreation professionals who generously share their time and expertise. APRA does not provide speaker compensation to in-state parks and recreation professionals presenting as part of their professional role or to industry partners.

**Industry partners are welcome to share their knowledge and expertise through education sessions. Sessions must be educational in nature and may not be used to promote or sell a product, service, or company. Industry partners are encouraged to participate in the conference through the exhibit hall, which provides an opportunity to connect with parks and recreation professionals and share information about their products and services. Preference will be given to Industry Partners who have secured a sponsorship or booth in the exhibit hall.

Travel Expenses: Speakers are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel expenses, including airfare, lodging, transportation, parking, and meals. APRA does not provide separate reimbursement for travel or other speaker expenses. If compensation is requested, please account for any anticipated travel expenses in the amount requested.

Lunch and conference attendance is not included as part of the speaker agreement. If you wish to attend sessions, luncheons, social activities or other conference related events, these items must be purchased in advance using the conference registration links.

Conference speakers are eligible to receive a discount for an education registration package.  A special code can be requested directly from the Education Chair. This registration is available for the speaker only and cannot be transferred. Pre-registration is required before the closing date.
