DESCRIPTION:Join the APRA Park & Facility Maintenance TEAM for a morning of learning\, collaboration\, and networking focused on strengthening teamwork and leadership in parks and recreation. This symposium brings together professionals from across Arizona to share ideas\, discuss current trends\, and explore strategies for improving community parks and facilities.The day will begin with a light breakfast and check-in\, followed by a welcome session and keynote presentation by Alex Montoya a public speaker and author who has spent his life helping others focus on what they have\, rather than what they don't have. Participants will then have the opportunity to attend one breakout session focused on equipment and tool demonstration by the City of Goodyear parks staff.
