APRA Young Professionals TEAM: Feed My Starving Children Volunteer Event

Join the APRA Young Professionals TEAM for an afternoon of giving back at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC)! Together, we’ll pack life-changing meals that help turn hunger into hope for children and families in need around the world.

This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow parks and recreation professionals, build relationships, and make a meaningful difference in our community and beyond. Every helping hand counts, and we look forward to working alongside you!

Important Volunteer Information

Arrive 15 minutes early: Please arrive by 11:45 AM to allow time for check-in, getting a hairnet, using the restroom, removing jewelry, and storing personal belongings in lockers. Orientation will begin promptly at noon.

Review volunteer policies: Please review FMSC’s volunteering policies, including jewelry guidelines, minimum packing age, and youth-to-adult ratios.

Youth volunteers: All volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. This is a strict safety policy with no exceptions.

Parking: Parking is limited, so carpooling is strongly encouraged, especially for larger groups.
