Young Professionals Day in Sedona

Young Professionals Day in Sedona
Saturday, September 13, 2025 (12:30 PM - 5:00 PM) (MST)
Description
Join the City of Sedona as we welcome the Arizona Parks & Recreation Association’s Young Professionals Team for a full day of connection, learning, and outdoor fun in one of Arizona’s most iconic settings.
We’ll kick things off at the Sedona Heritage Museum in Jordan Historical Park for a presentation by Nate Meyers. Nate will share stories and insights about the history of park rangers, the development of trail systems, and the role of the U.S. Forest Service in Northern Arizona.
Afterward, participants will explore the historic grounds with a guided tour and try out the Agents of Discovery mobile learning game—an interactive educational tool often featured at APRA vendor exhibits, now set in the heart of Sedona’s history.
Next, join a thrilling Jeep adventure deep into Sedona’s famous red rock country on the Colorado Plateau. Hang on as we navigate rugged backroads, climb up rocky hillsides, and wind through hidden canyons—all while taking in panoramic views that you can’t get from the pavement. This is the kind of Sedona experience that leaves you grinning and a little dusty in the best way possible.
We’ll wrap up the day at the Sedona Loop Trail Disc Golf Course with a friendly round among some of the most scenic fairways in the country, recognized by Dynamic Discs for its breathtaking backdrop.
Space is limited for the Jeep tour—register early to secure your spot for this unique blend of adventure, education, and networking.
