APRA's Internship Board is designed to help pair students from around the state with APRA member organizations. If you are looking to post a permanent position, please do so on the Career Center. Any permanent positions submitted to the internship board will not be approved and posted.
For Agencies looking to employ an intern, please see standard requirements below asked for by participating educational institutions:
NAU Overview:
This is an individualized and supervised field experience in an appropriate agency or
organization. Students must complete 450 hours.
Details
• Proposal: The student submits a fieldwork experience proposal after talking to their
fieldwork experience organization.
• Agreement: The student and the student’s fieldwork experience supervisor sign an
agreement form.
• Special Project: After starting the fieldwork experience, the student works with their
supervisor to identify a special project. The project should contribute to the organization’s
goals and be completed primarily by the student.
• Supervisor’s Evaluation: After completing the fieldwork experience, the supervisor
completes an evaluation of the student’s work. Supervisors may use their organizational
forms for the evaluation.
• Work Hours Verification: The supervisor submits a form verifying that the student
completed the required 450 hours of work.
