The City of Avondale is accepting applications for Parks Maintenance Worker in the Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department.  

Provides general maintenance and repair to City parks and sports fields. The duties of the Parks Maintenance Worker will include, but are not limited to, irrigation system maintenance, daily restroom cleaning and stocking, trimming of trees and bushes, turf maintenance including over-seeding, fertilizing, and top dressing, playground cleaning and ongoing maintenance, picnic shelter cleaning and upkeep, trash, and debris removal. The Parks Maintenance Worker's main goal is to ensure all park elements are in working order and to provide a safe, clean environment for all park visitors. The Parks Maintenance Worker will assist the Parks Maintenance Lead with any other assigned duties. 

This position may require participation in a rotational schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The schedule will be Sunday-Thursday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM.  The schedule is subject to change.
