The APRA Therapeutic Recreation TEAM invites you to an in-person education session hosted by the City of Tucson focused on expanding access, equity, and opportunity through adaptive sports and inclusive recreation.

Growing Adaptive Sports & Inclusive Recreation Programs will explore best practices, program development strategies, and real-world examples that support individuals of all abilities. The session is designed for parks and recreation professionals, therapists, and program leaders looking to enhance or launch adaptive recreation offerings in their communities.

The event includes:

1-hour education session focused on adaptive sports and inclusive programming.

Facility tour of the City of Tucson’s Therapeutic Recreation Center.

Adaptive sports demonstration showcasing programs in action.

Lunch provided for all attendees.
