This session explores and identifies shared objectives in the field, operational differences, engagement strategies, challenges faced and success stories from all settings.  This session dives into how essential services differ in small communities versus large ones and the challenges and opportunities that come across all sizes.

Chris Nunes, CPRE – Lead Consultant & Trainer, Broken Compass

Jay Tryon – Assistant Director; Concord, NC

Jay Tryon, CPRP is the Deputy Director for the City of Concord Parks and Recreation.  In this role he manages multiple divisions and assists with the development of the city’s 60-million-dollar Bond projects.  Previously he served as the Superintendent of Community Recreation for Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation.
